Rain Likely to Hit South and East Jakarta

The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts a mix of clear skies and light showers across Jakarta today.

Temperatures today are expected to hover between 24 and 30 degrees Celsius

"Partly cloudy in the morning," stated BMKG's official website on Monday (5/18).

By noon, fair weather will continue to dominate the city, covering Seribu Islands, as well as Central, North, West, South, and East Jakarta.

As evening approaches, clear skies will persist in Seribu Islands, Central, North, and West Jakarta. Meanwhile, a spot of light rain is likely to dampen parts of South and East Jakarta.

At night, partly cloudy conditions are expected in Seribu Islands, while the rest of Jakarta will enjoy clear intervals.

Temperatures today are expected to hover between 24 and 30 degrees Celsius, with humidity levels ranging from 67 to 95 percent.
